Mixing Pricing
Pricing:
$100 - song mix (basic)*
- includes 3 revisions**
$200 - song mix (complex)*
- includes 5 revisions**
Add-Ons
$50 - production work (basic)*
$100 - production work (complex)*
$150 - production work (extensive)*
$50 - each 3 additional revisions**
$15 - final mix stems
*Upon examining the stems and/or demo, your senior engineer will determine if the song falls in the basic or complex category. The artist will be notified of the complexity before beginning the project mix.
**Extensive enough revisions may cost more than one revision credit. The artist will be notified of the complexity of a revision and the associated number of revision credits before performing the revision.
Pricing will be set upon commission (not including Add-Ons). Payment for the mix is expected upfront (after analyzing the demo), while Add-On costs are expected at project end. Flower Patch Studios reserves the right to change pricing for future projects.
Prices may be negotiable, however we ask that you keep in mind that you will receive the quality you pay for.

$100 - vault (exclusive)

*Upon examining the artist's request, your senior engineer will determine the intended instrument's complexity. The artist will be notified of the price before production begins.

Custom Pricing will be set upon commission. Payment for the custom is expected upfront (after consultation). Flower Patch Studios reserves the right to change pricing for future projects.
Process
Process:
- The artist will share a demo and/or the stems for a project (mixing), or their intentions for an instrumental (customs), along with a written statement for their artistic vision (the more information the artist provides the better your senior engineer will be able to capture your vision).
- Your senior engineer will analyze the provided information and the artist statement during a one on one consultation. Your senior engineer will then determine the complexity of the project and provide you with a pricing quote.
- The artist will decide if they want to go forward with the project at the suggested price point, or if they would like to alter the complexity. The artist will then provide upfront payment for the mix and or custom instrumental.
- (For mixing) The artist will share the songs key-signature/bpm, stems, relevant midi information, and key points for their vision for the song. Reference tracks are welcome.
- (For mixing) Your senior engineer will apply an initial mix to the project, and may share progress clips to ensure proper direction.
- (For customs) The artist will share their vision for the instrumental. Reference tracks are welcome.
- (For customs) Your senior engineer will compose your instrumental, and may share progress clips to ensure proper direction.
- The artist will receive the initial mix/instrumental and will be able to request revisions.
- Your senior engineer will apply revisions. Further revisions will repeat this process.
- Upon project completion the artist is expected to provide Add-On payments, and your senior engineer will provide the final wav file and stems (if purchased).
Understanding Complexity
Complexity:
Reasons a project will be given a higher complexity rating:
- Poor quality stems requiring more surgical work
- Poorly recorded tracks
- Excessive room noise
- Clipping audio
- Poorly recorded tracks
- Quantity of instruments and tracks
- Multiple song sections requiring unique processing
- Song length
The inclusion of any one element does not inherently warrant a higher complexity level. Ultimately the complexity level will depend on the total work required to reach the artist’s vision. Complexity will be decided during your consul
